I have had bats I my house since I was a child and it seemed this was just a way of life in an old house. Our house was owned by our grandparents and had no insulation in the attic. We Just got used to having bats in our attic and sometimes flying around in the up stairs areas.
We spent our summers with our grandparents and spent our summer nights in the upstairs area of the home and on hot summer nights we spent the nights with the windows open with box fans blazing trying to cut the heat.
